Thanksgiving is nearly here- be sure to wow your family and guests with this Dallas Cranberry Sauce!
WKC Dallas Cranberry Sauce
- 1 Lb of fresh cranberries
- ½ cup red wine or red Vermouth
- ¼ cup Orange Juice
- 2/3 cup- 1 cup sugar to taste
- 1 Jalapeno- Diced
- ½ Teaspoon Black Pepper
- Zest of Citrus- Orange, Lime or Lemon- your choice
- Pinch of salt
Combine all ingredients together in a heavy sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Stir occasionally- reduce heat and simmer- 10 minutes. Can be made up to 5 days ahead of time when chilled and in refrigerator.
